HPE ProLiant blade servers are designed for high-density computing in a server room or data centre environment, with the operational simplicity of centralised power, cooling, and management. Whether you’re running dense virtualisation, private cloud infrastructure, large databases, high-performance computing, or software-defined workloads, the HPE BladeSystem platform is built to handle it.
HPE’s BladeSystem chassis selection is broad. The BladeSystem c7000 is a 10U enclosure supporting up to 16 half-height or 8 full-height blade servers, with six hot-plug power supplies, up to ten hot-swappable Active Cool fans. The c7000 Platinum edition further upgrades the backplane to 7 Tbit/s aggregate bandwidth. The BladeSystem c3000 is a more compact 6U enclosure supporting up to 8 half-height blades, designed for smaller environments, SMBs, and branch or remote site deployments.
The HPE ProLiant blade range also covers a broad spectrum of compute requirements. The half-height BL460c is a dual-socket blade spanning Gen8 through Gen10, supporting Intel Xeon processors, and HPE DDR4 SmartMemory up to 2TB in Gen10. The half-height BL660c is a higher-density four-socket blade accommodating up to twice the processing and memory capacity of the BL460c within a single half-height bay. For the highest compute and memory density, the full-height, double-wide BL680c delivers four-socket performance and was the first blade to support up to 2TB of memory, with six embedded FlexFabric adapters for high-bandwidth networking. We have a huge selection of variants available to choose from. Please ask for bespoke configurations.
