This Avago AFBR-57G5MZ-ELX is a short-range 32Gb Fibre Channel SFP+ transceiver module operating at 850nm wavelength. It supports high-speed serial links over multi-mode fibre with signalling rates up to 28.05 Gb/s, compliant with Small Form Pluggable (SFP and SFP+) industry standards. The module is multi-rate compatible with 32GFC, 16GFC, and 8GFC Fibre Channel specifications and includes internal clock and data recovery circuits for 32GFC and 16GFC operation. Digital diagnostic monitoring (DMI) provides real-time status on laser, receiver, and environmental conditions via a serial interface. The transceiver uses a fibre LC duplex connector and is designed for use in high-performance data centre and storage networking applications.
