This Cisco adaptor module converts a single 40 Gigabit QSFP+ port into a single 10 Gigabit SFP+ or 1 Gigabit SFP port. It features a passive electrical lane-mapping architecture that routes lane 0 of the four available 40G channels directly to the SFP+ receptacle while terminating the other three lanes. The hot-swappable design allows insertion or removal without disrupting network operations.
