Features two optical service channels supporting supervisory data channel (SDC), synchronous clock distribution, and a 100-Mbps user data channel (UDC). Supports IEEE1588v2 Precision Timing Protocol (PTP), time of day (ToD) with pulse per second (PPS), Synchronous Ethernet (SyncE), Source Specific Multicast (SSM), and traditional SONET and SDH Building Integrated Timing Supply (BITS). Designed for slots 1 and 8 in Cisco ONS 15454 M6 and CPT 600, and slot 1 in ONS 15454 M2 and CPT 200. Provides active and standby configurations for 1:1 equipment protection.
