Brainboxes ES-420 1-Port RS422/485 Power over Ethernet (PoE) Ethernet to Serial Adapter. This compact device server offers a single RS422/485 serial port with DB9 male connector and supports serial data rates from 110bps up to 1,000,000bps. It features a 10/100Mbps RJ45 Ethernet port with IEEE 802.3af PoE support and TCP/IP network connectivity compliant with RFC2217. The adapter includes serial port tunnelling, virtual COM port support, and a web-based configuration interface for remote management. Suitable for industrial and commercial applications, it is housed in an industrial metal enclosure and can be mounted on DIN rails or walls. Power options include PoE or 5-30V DC external input.
